Free Estimate
A free estimate from LTS is provided by an ISA Certified Arborist and can be completed on-site—or occasionally through photos. Most visits take less than 30 minutes, and you’ll receive a written estimate for the specific services you request. This option is best if you already know what you need, such as pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, or spraying.
Consultation
If you’re unsure about your tree care needs, a consultation is the better choice. During this visit, an ISA Certified Arborist will meet with you on-site to evaluate your trees and discuss your concerns in detail. Your arborist can assess tree health and structure, identify diseases or insect issues, evaluate potential risks, recommend plant health care programs, and offer planting guidance. With your goals in mind, the arborist will help define a clear scope of work and can provide a follow-up estimate if requested. Pricing varies based on property size and location, but most homeowner consultations typically range from $100 to $150.
Yes! Our team includes six ISA certified arborists, a Certified Treecare Safety Professional, a Licensed Pesticide's Applicator, and a North Carolina Licensed Landscape Contractor. We also employ NCCCO-certified, OSHA-qualified crane operators.
We are fully insured and exceed the industry standard for workman's compensation and general liability insurance. We are happy to provide Certificates of Insurance upon request.

Yes. We provide emergency tree response outside normal hours for storm damage, fallen trees, and hazardous limbs that pose an immediate risk to your home or property in the Raleigh area. Our trained team is equipped to safely remove trees and large limbs from homes, garages, and other structures.
The fastest way to begin is by completing our Contact Us form and uploading photos of the damage. Images allow our arborists to quickly assess the situation, prioritize urgent hazards, and arrive prepared with the proper equipment. We closely monitor emergency requests and will respond as soon as possible to confirm next steps and scheduling. After the work is complete, we provide insurance-friendly invoices to help support your claim.
Late winter through early spring is ideal for most trees. However, hazardous or damaged branches can be removed anytime. Some species require specific timing, and we tailor pruning to each tree’s needs.
Most mature trees benefit from pruning every 3–5 years. Fast-growing species and young trees may need more frequent care to maintain healthy structure.

We recommend a mulch depth of 3" for landscape beds to control weeds. One cubic yard of mulch covers approximately 100 square feet at a 3" depth.
To calculate the amount of mulch needed, measure your bed length x width for total square footage then divide by the coverage rate of 100 sq ft for a 3" depth.
For example, if your beds total 500 sq ft: 500 ÷ 100 = 5 cubic yards of mulch
